The views from Goryokaku Tower is different on each season,spring,summer,fall,and winter. In spring, you can enjoy seeing 1,600 beautiful cherry blossoms and the view from the tower is a best place to see them. However, it takes at least three hours to go up the tower in season which cherry blossoms bloom beautifully because many people go there to enjoy seeing them. In summer, you can enjoy full of green trees, and in fall you can enjoy red leaves.In winter you can enjoy that Goryokaku is covered with snow and at night it is illuminated.

PONYO*

These days, I can hardly wait to watch "Gakeno ueno Ponyo" which is a new animation movie of Hayao Miyazaki.Once I heard the theme song, the music repeats, repeats and repeats in my head!!A little girl sings the song and the voice is really cute! And also the picture of main character, Ponyo looks super kawaii!!!
When I first knew the new movie of Hayao, I though it looks childish and I might not go to watch it.
But now I'm crazy about Ponyo...yes.If I could finish my homework,soon I"ll go to a theater(*^^*)

LONDON

I'm making a plan to go to North England,but our budgest is only 250,000yen. If I go there, it costs more because rural places is needed to use complicated transportation, so I decided to change my plan a little bit, and I'm going to stay London only.

Flight: 1 roundtrip ticket (British Airways)

＜9/1 to 9/4＞

1:20 pm Depart Tokyo (NRT)　-　Arrive London (LHR) 5:15 pm

3:45 pm Depart London (LHR)　- Arrive Tokyo (NRT) 11:10 am +1 day

The flight is nonstop flight, and It takes 11 houses over.Of course, I have small budget, so I'm going to take a trip by economy class.The roundtrip ticket conts $1,643.00

Hotel: The Parkcity London

I'm going to stay The Parkcity London for three night in standard room.

The price is $39.70 per night（It souds cheap and ideal,isnt'it??) but, traveler opinion is 4.7 out of 5!!!It souds a nice hotel^^

The total(including cost of the flight and hotel) is.....

$2,588.29!!! It's over! Oh no....

But, I think it doesn't matter because Caleb will pay...

Sightseeing spot:

I really want to go to Harrods if I stay London.Harrods is very famous department store and it has varieties of goods.I want to buy a lot of suvenirs for myself, my family and friends(but I know my travel cost is over 250,000yen!><;)

Another spot is Buckingham Palace(haha)
As you know,Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch.I love to see old beautiful architecture!

During the term from 7/27 to 9/25, we can enter theplace,so during my trip, I can go to see there^^

English breakfast

While English breakfast is not common in homes anymore,it can be found in plenty of cafes andrestaurants around London.
It contais a fried egg,a sausage,a piece of bacon,beans, mushrooms and toasts with butter^^

Kelvingrove Park(Recreation park), Glasgow



There is a number of statues.At the center of the park,a magnificent fountation stands and used for providing fresh warter to the city of Glascow.
You can enjoy nature, history, and art at the same time here.
A boy says
"I describe this park as friendly ,quite very big and fresh because a lot of plants in it."
You can enjoy sports here like skateboard,tennis and so forth.

TOEFL TEST

Last week, I took TOEFL TEST ant it was first time for me to take take real test(Not IPT)
The score is not shown, but I think it's terrible! because I could't listen what the native speakers was saying, so I could't speak and kept silent in front of a computer!
However I think the test was good for me as for that I could know what the TOEFEL TEST is like.
Every time I take some tests, I always think I have to study English and start something to improve my English skills....

Happy birthday,Yukari～♪

The day before yesterday,on Friday,

I held small small party for Yukari in lunch time.

I gave her a present and brought a lot of snacks.

If we have no 3rd class, we could stay the room.

Only about 50minitutes is too short to talk with Yukari.

Anyway, I'm happy I could held small small party for her.

I'm complacent about that!Yeah!

Travel

The place I really wanna go the most is The lake District, in North West England.
If I go, maybe the travel costs a lot of money,but I have some reasons why I wanna go there.
First, I wanna go countries whose mother langage is English and no need to start to learning new language.
Second, I want to feel relaxed, and forget daily worries, so I wanna go the place which has beautiful scenery.
Third, I love coutryside.
Forth, I love tea cups and are interested in "After noon tea".
Fifth, I have interest about Beatrix Potter.
Therefore, I wanna go The Lake District!!!!!!
Buuuut! The cost we have is only 250,000yeeeen!!!It's to small to go North England^^;

They say this movie is really fun and Everybody from the young to the old can enjoy it.
Moreover,Enchanted is new becuase this movie has not animation scene and animation are mixed! In adition, this movie has whole character of Disney movies becuase there are still good music, good animation, musical, a beautiful princess, a prince, avillain and so on.
It soulds really interesting for me! and I think I should watch it right now!

I love taking pictures of the sky.

Looking at the sky makes me relax when I feel depressed.

As I look at the sky, I always think how I am tiny existenc in this world, how I am like a speck in this wide world, so I can forget many things bothering me. I can feel that troublesome things can be small.

Oh,I catch up the idea!Two weeks ago,I watch a movie "＊＊＊＊＊＊".
So please let me tell you the story^^
This movie is fantasy and makes me laugh,feel happy and sorrowful.


One woman called Kim is paying a visit to sell toiletries for her business,but nobody does't buy her prodects.Then one weird castle catches her sight.
She thinks a resident in the castle may buy her product.
She goes there by her car and met a man named Edward having *****.His hands are metal and *****. Moreover his face looks pale and appearance looks unusual.He have lived there alone.She decide to take him into her house because she is too kind and think he feel lonley.
At the beginig of the life in her house, it's hard for Edward because he can't catch up food with hand and Kim's daughter is scared against him.Neighbors also come to her house for seeing the unusual newcomer.
But soon her family and neighbors get alnong with Edword.
He cut trees and women's hairs beautifully with his hands and he become more popular among town people.
Then, Edword falls in love with Kim's daughter, Peg....
However,his hands is *****, so he hurts her with the hands.In addition, he is mistakenly captured by the police......Edward thinks he can't be here anymore and leaves the town..........

I got an electric piano!

These days, the air is humid, isn't it??.It makes me tired><;

(Last year, I wrote almost the same as this. I am not good at this season^^;)

Buuuut, I got an electric piano last week so I'm happy.
I found that on the internet and it is was outlet so it costs less than 50,000yen!Yes!!Although it includes an electric piano, a stand, a chair, and a music,it was 44,800en.It was a bargain and cheap,so I bought as a small reward for myself and paid by myself.

I had an upright piano,but one day,my father said" The earthquake would happen in the near future!!It's so dangerout because It may fall down to us!!So I decided to throw it away!!"

Though the piano escaped throwing away, it was sold to a store which deal with old used piano.

I was really shocked at that time(；；

But I got an electric piano,so it's ok^^I'm happy.

I try not be satisfied with buying it and try to practice as much as I can★

In presentation class, all presenters' pronunciation was so good that I was astonished!^^ Each presentation was really fun and funny!I laughed and enjoyed it! Thanks,classmates.


By the way,I would like to tell you one of my favorite Japanese singers,♪Shunichi Miyamoto♪. Have you ever heard his name or Do you know of him?? Almost not,I think because he is not so famous.

His age is 21 and He not only composes music but also sing his own music, playing the piano.He is soooo talented! As young he is, his technique of the piano is wonderful I think.As he is getting older,the level of his singing is also becoming better and better.
I really like his music because his song is comfotable, beautiful, sensitive and matured. There is something in his music moves me. I also like the words which is well organized,so my age is almost the same as his but I thought I couldn't write words like his which really match his music.

Each person has fifferent tast but I would like you to listen his music once♪
I recommend"Umino komori uta" and "Deau maeno youni"^^

Almost(?) G classmates introduced themselves,so I've decided to write about myself.

My name is Mari Ueshima and G classmates call me MariU(There are two Mari in this class)

Hometown:
My hometown is Hiratsuka. Hiratsuka is between Chigasaki and Oiso.
It takes 80 minutes to commute from there to Ferris.

Music: I like listening to classical music,Evanescence,and Back street boys.
but I'm not so familiar with those, so don't ask me what classic music I like and know^^;

Hobby:
My hobby is taking pictures,especially I love taking scenic pictures,sky and flowers.
Good point of this hobby is to cost nothing.haha

Character:
I am always said by people around me "You seem to be serious and like reading books"!
I don't like to be said so......because I don't like reading books! After I read books, my eyes really get tired, so don't like it.Of course, I think reading a book is very important thing,so I try to read books as possible I can.

Only child:
I have no brothers. I can be in my own pace at home although sometimes I feel lonley.

Animals:
My favorite animai is seals and I love baby seals because they are really cute★

Part time job:
I'm working at convenience store,ministop.Before starting this job,I had worked at seven-eleven.Now I do part-time job on Tuesday,Friday and Sunday,so three times a week. The pay is 800yen an hour. a liitele bit large than that of other convenience stores??

That's all I could introduce myself today.I am sleepy now,so I'm going to take a bath and going to bed>< Bye-☆

What is your hobby??

These days, I'm absorbed in miniatures called syoku-gan.

There are a lot of miniature series.
"Anokoro minna syougakusei series"
"Gohoubi cake series" etc,.....

It conforts me^^ I can enter the world of miniture,and
especially when my mind feels tired, see that and make me happy.

I think in your child, you liked to collect sylvania family.
To collect miniatures is a kind of the feeling.

I want to collect a lot of minitures.
It's not so expensive and one box only costs 300-400yen.

My character is to hesitate to buy useless things,but.......
I think It's important to buy comfortable things.

The strange man

A mysterious man often comes to a convenience store where I am doing my part-time job.


The strange man always puts brown or khaki clothes on.


That is to say.....................................amilitary uniform.

Of couerse, with a cap and badges.




I don't know the uniform is which country's.
perhaps,....hmm


I always him puting the uniform on, not one time.


So, I think that the clothes are casual wears for him.

He bought vegetable juice(for taking care of his health??)

He is not so much fat as slim.
